'..want to give...but I like..."

This is an extremely backdated post.  It was drafted by mommy three years ago in March, 2010. At that time, Shenny was 4 year old.  Mommy forgot to publish it in the blog.

Here is the story:

Shenny had her after school tea with mommy in Pak Li Restaurant today. While waiting for food to be served, Shenny took out a jelly from her pocket to show mommy. She happily told mommy that she got this jelly from her teacher and proudly added that she was the only one get this in the class. Mommy asked her why. She told mommy she was very behave in the class today.

After our tea, we went to shop some fruits in the Ong Tai Kim Supermarket. While mommy was choosing the fruit, another mommy with a little girl on hand also came to choose the fruit.
Shenny saw the girl cute and told mommy in soft voice, "I want to give this jelly to the little girl". Mommy told her gotta ask the little girl's mommy first, because some mommy does not want their children to accept things from a stranger. But Shenny didn't ask and she didn't give the jelly to the girl.

Afer a while, we bounced into the little girl again, mommy told shenny, if you really want to give the girl your jelly, go ahead. Shenny then answered mommy, I really want to give her my jelly but I like my jelly.. Ah...what kind of answer is this?

School Punishment

Case 1: Talk in line

Shenny:"I talk in line today for two times and I got to call into office for two times".
Mommy was surprised to hear Shenny told me this.
Mommy: "What happen?"
Shenny:"I talk to my friends in assembly"

Shenny told mommy again next day after school.
Shenny:"I talk in line one time, I only go into office one time"
Shenny seemed very proud of herself because she was caught once today only. Mommy immediately corrected her.
Mommy:"It is not good to speak to your friend when have assembly. Your name will be black-listed.".
Shenny:"What is black-listed?"
Mommy:"Black-listed means you have done something not good, teacher has written down your name. Next time, if something bad happen, teacher will think of you first.
Shenny:"Why think of me?"
Mommy:"Because teacher thinks you are bad children,you might do it"
Shenny:"I am not bad children, why..."


Case 2: Call into principal office

Tonight, Shenny read a story for mommy, there has a sentence written as "One, Two, Three". And Shenny pronounce "Three" incorrectly. And mommy tried to correct her.
Shenny: "Teacher read this way"
Mommy:"I thought you said Mrs Simpson told you to read 'three' in 'free' sound"
Shenny:"Yes, but teacher xxxxx read that way"
Mommy"You can tell teacher xxxxx"
Shenny:"No, I don't want to tell her, then I am called into office to see Teacher XXXXX (her kinder's principal) again"

Mommy was surprised to get this response from her and contacted the principal next morning. The principal was also surprised to know this and promised to correct this right away.

Mommy then checked with Shenny whether the principal had talked to her.
Shenny replied,Teacher XXXXX said I can raise my hand to tell the teacher.


Case 3: Stand in front of class

It happened once mommy caught Shenny was punished in the school. She was asked to stand in front of her class.

Shenny sheepishly told mommy later that she got this punishment because she had ignored her teacher's warning. The warning was not to kick and play with a chair when teacher teaching.

Do Houseworks

Nowadays, Shenny always asks mommy to let her help in houseworks.

At home, mommy only allows Shenny to wipe tables.

If she wipes table, she will first wipe coffee table, her chair and computer table.

It happened once that mommy caught Shenny used the same cloth she used to wipe tables to wipe her foot, then she continued to wipe tables all over again. Gosh! it was so disgusting when mommy saw this. Ha...she is playing more than helping.

Mommy also thinking to let Shenny to mop floor at home, but mommy could not find the proper size of mop for her.

Ha..Shenny was so excited to find grandmother's house had a mop that suite her size.

Let's see how Shenny mop the floor...

Self-made spectacles

Last Friday, Shenny was in the mood to make herself a pair of paper spectacles while mommy and papa were busy packing to go back Alor Star to celebrate Chinese New Year.

Mommy is happy for Shenny could always find something to do to keep herself busy. As long as she does not make a big mess in the house, mommy is ok for her to do anything.

After she had successfully made a pair of spectacles, she wore it and wanted her papa to take photos.
