Shenny was in the 11th Aloha Ukulele Festival held at the Contennial Hall, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea on Saturday 20 August 2016.
Thanks Professor Changsoo Kim for giving Shenny such a
golden opportunity to perform at the 11th Aloha Ukulele Festival in
Korea. It was an eye-opener for her to be able to perform on the same
stage with other talented ukulele players from Taiwan, Philippine, Japan
and Korea.

Shenny had her first snow experience in Holland on last 28 December 2014 after her 9 years of visiting there.
Shenny felt very excited and fortunate for this time. Previously, she missed snow either it came before she arrived or after she left Holland. And this year, she was right at it.
She got chance to build her own snowman and sings "Do
you want to build a snowman" with her snowman. (video below)

Shenny had her first solo recital at her music school (Ideal Music). She played piano, ukulele and sang songs.
We had about 75 audiences and the sale of tickets is donated to an orphanage.

This was a very back dated post. Mommy would like to make a log in Shenny's blog.
Teacher Kelly's birthday was in August and that was her school exam period. However, Shenny managed to squish some free time to design a simple birthday card for her.
Shenny and her Ukulele Sunshine Kid team get to join with teacher Kelly Teh for the live interview at NTV7 Good Morning Tai Tai (活力早晨) . The live interview was done on 18 September 2014 (8am).
On that day, all of them arrived at the NTV7 office by 6.45am.
Before the interview, they had some light make-up and rehearsal. The NTV7 staff and mc were very friendly to them.

Shenny and her Ukulele Sunshine Kids took part in Persatuan Pencinta Muzik Ukulele Malaysia (PPMUM) Ukulele Flashmob @ Nexus, Bangsar South City on 13th September 2014.
PPMUM was invited to perform for the grand opening of Nexus at Bangsar South.
It was about 60++ people join the flashmob.
Shenny and the group were very excited as this was the first public event organize run in flashmob style. Hopefully, there will be more such event in future.
Mr Calvin Khong from The Malay Mail came to visit and interview teacher Kelly and her Ukulele Sunshine Kids few days before Chinese New Year. Shenny and her team members presented a few songs to welcome his visit.
And the interview outcome was published on Saturday, Feb 14, 2014. It was a shock + surprised indeed to find out that Shenny's photo was chosen by the reporter to appear in the newspaper too. And, Shenny gave a big JUMP when she saw her photo in the newspaper.

Shenny and her Ukulele Sunshine team member; Lyn Xuan and Yong Juin were given opportunity to perform for more than 2000 students at their school's Children Day.
Shenny made her first appearance in public singing contest on last Saturday (19 Oct 2013). The singing contest was organized by e-kids Art Corridor and held in Summit USJ.
Shenny's music center sent total of 5 candidates (including Shenny) for the contest. Three of the candidates are Shenny's friend.
Shenny and her friends were very sporting, did their best and winners in their own ways.
As parents, we felt very proud of them.

Both Shenny and mommy were invited to take a small part in the making of "My Plight, My Dream - Nicole Yap". Nicole Yap is Shenny's piano teacher. The filming was taken on mid last year (30 June 2012).
The documentary was shown on RTM2, but mommy did not know the exact date of showing. Shenny took the role as little Nicole while mommy took the role as little Nicole's mommy. Both mommy and Shenny appeared from screen ..03:53 onwards.
And this was one of filming scene, mommy took it from outside.

One day, Shenny was not feeling well in school, and she did not have appetite to eat her lunch. Before lunch time, she quickly wrote a short note, intending to put in her lunch box to inform aunty (who prepared lunch for her) on why she left her food untouch.
However, she changed her mind after seeing the food.
Below was our conversation:
Shenny: "Mommy, I was not feeling well this afternoon. I thought not to eat. I write this note to tell aunty. But later I change my mind. I finish the food because I don't want to waste food."
Mommy: "What is your lunch? "
Shenny: "Chee cheong fan ..." (she smiled)
So, that is her answer why she can eat eventhough not feeling well.
Shenny's music school took part at the Parents & Kids Expo 2013 in Kuala Lumpur Convention Center this year.
There were about 10 students (age ranges from 6 to 15) from her Ideal Music school to take part in the performance, and Shenny was one of them. Teacher Nicole chose their performance time slot at 1.30pm to 2pm on Sunday (1/9/2013).
On that day, they first met up at Booth B070 Hall 5 which is Young Chang reseller. All kids had their warm-up practice there before actual performance. Shenny had to perform two songs, one duet with David on Beauty and The Beast and individual performance on Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! And this is another performer (Puah Zheng Yi) who was the Bronze winner (age 9 - 12) in Asia Piano Competition, recently held at Taiwan. He played the similar song at Parents & Kids Expo. Mommy wishes Shenny would play like him one day.
After reading a few bloggers' recommendation of the place, finally, Shenny got a chance to visit the Farm In The City last Sunday (28 July 2013). Truly the place is quite a fun and learning place for kids in the city to visit although the entrance fee is quite dearly.
Shenny was excited to visit the place because she had opportunity to see, feed and touch animals.
And here is the video clip Shenny fed the birds on her palm. She was
extremely excited because there were so many birds stand on her palm to
eat grains. She felt like birds give her palm massaging.

A klpac Orchestra's Summer Concert is coming up on 3 Aug 2013 @ 8.30pm (Saturday) and 4 Aug 2013 @ 4pm (Sunday) at The Actor Studio in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail.
Shenny and her Ukulele Sunshine Group (kids & adult) are invited to perform as pre-concert event for the concert. They will perform around 7.45 - 8.15pm on Saturday and 3.15 - 3.45pm on Sunday at the lobby. Their performance is open for everyone to watch.
